Can I download a free demo version of Cover Manager?
A: Yes, click here to go to our downloads page. The demo version will only allow you to use the software with fictional staff and fictional timetables (you cannot enter your own details). You can also download some of our other SMART School software.

Can I become a reseller?
A: Absolutely, contact us and speak to us about becoming a Cover Manager reseller. The reseller package is open to schools, universities, registered companies and individuals.
 

Can I get a discount on bulk purchases?
A: To qualify for bulk purchase discount you will need to either buy one of the 5 pack bundles from our webstore or contact us and join our reseller programme.
 

What features are disabled in the demo version?
A: The demo version of Cover Manager only allows you to use the software with fictional staff and timetables, you cannot add your own school information. The fully registered version has all features unlocked.
 

Can Cover Manager be networked?
A: Yes. Contact us to discuss how Cover Manager can be networked throughout your school. The networked version of Cover Manager can accommodate upto 250 simultaneous users at once. All your staff can use it as a 'booking out form'.
 

Does Cover Manager support other languages?

What systems does Cover Manager run on?
A: Cover Manager will run on Apple Mac (OSX) and Microsoft Windows (2000 & XP) operating systems.

My registration code doesn't work or has expired and I want to re-install Cover Manager.
A: Email us your purchase details and we will send you a replacement code once we have confirmed your purchase.

I can’t get my registration code to work

When you purchase Cover Manager the registration codes are time limited. That is the code that is sent to you in your registration email will only be active for a short time after registration. This is to help prevent unauthorised distribution of registration codes with unlicensed versions of Cover Manager.

If your code doesn’t work it is likely that the code has expired. You should contact us using the email address above and request a new code. We will check your registration details and send a new code to legitimate users.

The best policy is to enter the registration code as soon as you receive it.

I get an error message on loading Cover Manager.

This is caused by the download being corrupted in some manner and Cover Manager hasn’t been able to install properly. Go to www.smart-school.co.uk and select the demo link on the left to download a new copy. This has also been caused by users trying to run the Windows version on a Mac and vice versa

My printouts are cropped or overlap

This is caused by not having the default paper size option matching the paper size you are using. See the initial set up section for more details.
