3 Square are FileMaker Solutions Alliance members and have been designing and developing database software using the all powerful FileMaker Pro, for over 12 years.

We are lucky to include experienced teachers on our development team who have over 20 years teaching experience behind them, invaluable when developing the software and getting it right for teachers.

3 Square Associates Curriculum Online eLearning Credits Approval

We're delighted to announce that we have been approved by BECTA & DfES as an official content provider and reseller for Curriculum Online eLearning credits. UK education customers can now purchase all of our software products, including Lesson Planner, Lesson Planner Advanced , Cover Manager behaviour management software, Report Writer, SMS Sender, Vault and Attendance using eLearning credits funding.

What are eLCs?

Schools have been given money in the form of eLearning Credits (eLCs) specifically to spend on multimedia resources to support the teaching and learning of subjects right across the curriculum.

Curriculum Online

Launched by the DfES in January 2003, Curriculum Online (www.curriculumonline.gov.uk) is a highly searchable, online catalogue of ALL the thousands of multimedia resources that schools can buy with their eLCs. All these products are linked to the curriculum of subjects taught in schools in England

How do I use eLCs?

Decide which of our software resources you want. Ask your eLC budget holder for approval, then order direct from 3 Square Associates Ltd, saying you are using eLCs. We then process your order, invoice you and provide software, registration codes and a licence certificate the same as any other order

3 Square & Cover Manager At BETT January 2006

3 Square will be demonstrating Cover Manager, Lesson Planner Advanced and "How To Build A Database In 20 Minutes" on the FileMaker UK stand at the BETT Show, Olympia, London between the 11th and 14th January 2006. We will be demonstrating the two sessions each day and also hope to meet customers both old and new. Come and see us on the FileMaker stand Q40. Demo copies of Cover Manager and Lesson Planner Advanced will be available from 3 Square, on the FileMaker software CD and also on the Macworld/PC World BETT software CD.

SMART School Software Suite Coming Soon...
We're pleased to announce that Cover Manager will soon be part of an applications suite that includes Lesson Planner, Attendance, Student Data, Vault file storage, SMS Sender and student Report Writer software. We're working hard at 3 Square development HQ to get versions of the suite off the ground. At the moment we have Cover Manager, SMS Sender, Lesson Planner, Vault and Attendance available for demo download and purchase from our web store. We've also begun to develop a web site for the suite at www.smart-school.co.uk. We'll post more information about new applications very soon.

Lesson Planner Goes Global
Lesson Planner is now being used by teachers in 4 continents (America, Europe, Asia & Australia) and over a dozen different countries. Lesson Plannner has been entered for the Macworld/FileMaker Business Solution of the Year Award 2005. The competition is open to FileMaker developers across all business sectors who are producing professional software solutions using FileMaker.

Coming Soon... Lesson Planner Online Forum
We are putting the finishing touches to a new Lesson Planer online forum. Currently in beta testing, the forum will offer users the chance to browse or ask for solutions to common FAQ's as well as providing a hub for all things relating to using Cover Manager. We plan to take the forum live at the beginning of May.

SMART School Web Site
We are working hard on a new web site to showcase our SMART School product line. The new site will feature other exciting and powerful applications for marking attendance, recording student grades, writing reports and storing contact details. Watch this space for more info.
